Aninaw is a revival of the UP Library Bulletin, which was the official newsletter of the University of the Philippines Library System. It first saw light in 1956 and was published in print until 2002. Publication was in hiatus until it transitioned online to WordPress in 2006, but this time, it was mainly a newsletter of the University Library Diliman (other University Libraries have taken advantage of available social media platforms or have their own publications). The WordPress site was active until 2016. The Main Library currently maintains a blog in its own website where it is updated regularly.
