The microfilm laboratory is where the library microfilm collection is maintained. They have processor and duplicator machines for producing microfilms.
It has a film storage room where the microfilm negatives are stored; the positives are the microfilms for public use at the Media Services section in the basement, while the negatives are the originals. This room is kept airconditioned 24/7 to preserve the integrity of the microfilm collection.
At present the microfilm laboratory is doing mostly maintenance work. Next to the microfilm laboratory is the supply room of technical services as well as a shelf of text copies of UP Los Baños theses and dissertations.
