Reviewing and Writing a Literature Review

Examining academic literature allows one to learn about what has come before, what has worked, and what hasn't for previous researchers. To show that a researcher knows what they are talking about and can critically evaluate research in the field and present evidence to back up their conclusions, it is essential to write a review of related literature. However, many researchers find this challenging to get started with.

Learning Objectives:
After this webinar, the participants will be able to accomplish the following:

  • Understanding the role of literature in the research process

  • To become familiar with various types of literature

  • To become familiar with the steps involved in writing an effective literature review
