e-Padaloy: Resource Sharing from UP to the SUCs

The University Library Diliman, in partnership with with the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs (OVPAA), is proud to share the results of our e-Padaloy initiative.

e-Padaloy is a resource sharing and allocation project which aims to provide access to online databases subscribed by the University Library. Through e-Padaloy, we were able to extend access beyond the UP community to the benefit of select State Universities and Colleges (SUCs).

In its inaugural year, 2024, we were able to reach out to Eulogio “Amang” Rodriguez Institute of Science and Technology, Isabela State University, Occidental Mindoro State College, Southern Leyte State University, Samar State University, Cotabato Foundation College of Science and Technology, Agusan del Sur State College of Agriculture and Technology, Camiguin Polytechnic State College, Iloilo Science and Technology University, and CARAGA State University.

For 2025, e-Padaloy is expanding its reach to another 10 SUCs: Aurora State College of Technology, Camarines Norte State College, Batanes State College, Bulacan Agricultural State College, J.H. Cerilles State College, Northern Bukidnon State College, State University of Northern Negros, Sulu State College, Guimaras State University, and Zamboanga State College of Marine Science and Technology.

Trainings and capacity building sessions were conducted on-site at the UPD Main Library, temporarily located at the Environmental and Energy Engineering building, as well as online via Zoom teleconferencing.
