Games and exciting prizes await the live event participants. We will also stream the event and upload the VOD recording to the UPD Library Facebook page.

Overview
In an increasingly digital world, libraries and patrons alike have continuously displayed a sense of dependence and preference for electronic resources. Leveraging on this context, it is vital for academic libraries to provide sufficient information literacy programs with the end goal of producing self-sufficient and highly capable students. To better discuss and exhibit the extent of the library’s newly subscribed e-resources, a demonstration, led by a product or database specialist, shall be conducted to better guide the university’s stakeholders in a real-time environment. Furthermore, the opportunity to provide proper feedback from the student and faculty body regarding the inclusive resources is essential for the library and publishers to determine ample solutions in the future.
Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of webinar, students and faculty members shall be able to perform the following:
- Cross-search across available facets to locate specific resources, most especially in the pure and applied sciences.
- Engage in digital humanities activities through the use of digitized primary resources such as historical newspapers and government publications.
- Effectively examine the scope and content of acquired eBooks through chapter reviews.
