Overview
The Information Services and Instruction Section of the University Library is organizing a webinar session to introduce its lineup of new online resource subscriptions and discuss timely and relevant topics to address the information needs of the academic community as we begin the second semester. Each online database shall be introduced and discussed by experts. In order to capitalize on the databases’ features and functions, a demonstration geared towards collaborative learning, interdisciplinary research, and publication shall be conducted. An open forum to accommodate questions and concerns regarding using these resources shall immediately follow each presentation.
Learning Objectives
At the end of this webinar session, students, staff, and faculty members will be able to (1) demonstrate how to access and use online resources/tools; (2) maximize the use of our online resources for teaching and learning; and (3) guide faculty members and students on the proper use resources for their academic needs.
