Congratulations to our University Librarian, Elvira B. Lapuz, for being elected member to the Asia-Oceania Division Committee of the International Federation of Library Association and Institutions (IFLA)!
The IFLA is aimed at creating “a strong and united global library field powering literate, informed and participatory societies”. The Asia-Oceania Division Committee is among the 6 regional divisions of IFLA which support advocacy as well as develop and implement action plans in response to the needs of the library field in the region.
